Dedicated Sony projector mount

This ceiling mount is designed exclusively for Sony VPL-EW435, EW455, EW575, EW578, EX430, EX435 and EX450 projectors. It uses a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate for a precise fit without covering vents. Buyers with any other projector model cannot use this mount.

Straightforward drywall or beam install

All required hardware and detailed instructions are supplied for mounting on drywall ceilings or wooden beams. The unit positions the projector roughly 4 inches from the ceiling and is not intended for drop or false ceilings, which is the most common installation error.

360-degree rotation with tilt range

The mount provides full 360-degree swivel plus pitch and roll adjustment up to 35 degrees in any direction. This covers most ceiling angles but cannot compensate for steeper slopes or extreme off-axis positioning.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the mount is holding the Sony VPL-EW435 securely after installation?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate is built for the listed Sony models only. After mounting, verify the projector sits roughly 4 inches from the ceiling and that the 360-degree swivel plus ±35-degree pitch and roll move smoothly without binding.

What hardware comes in the box and what must I supply for a drywall ceiling?

All projector and ceiling mounting hardware plus detailed instructions are included for drywall or wooden beam installation. You only need basic tools such as a drill, level and appropriate drill bits.

My projector is a Sony VPL-EX450 — will this mount fit or do I need a different version?

The mount is designed specifically for the Sony VPL-EW435, EW455, EW575, EW578, EX430, EX435 and EX450 models listed in the title. If your model matches one of those, this single version is the correct choice.
