This aluminium ceiling mount is built specifically for Sony VPL-SW225, SW235, SX225, SX226, SX235 and SX236 projectors. It positions the unit roughly five inches from the ceiling surface. The CNC-machined plate ensures a precise fit for these models only. Installers working with other projector lines should choose a different mount.

Simple Drywall or Beam Installation

All required hardware and detailed instructions are supplied for mounting to drywall or wooden beams. The bracket allows 360-degree rotation and tilt adjustment up to 80 degrees in either direction. The design leaves adequate space around the projector for heat to escape. This product is not intended for drop or false ceiling installations.

Fixed Short-Throw Projection Distance

The mount sets the projector at a fixed offset of approximately five inches from the ceiling, which limits placement flexibility in rooms needing greater drop lengths. It cannot be used with suspended grid ceilings. Buyers who need adjustable extension columns or compatibility with other projector models will not be served by this fixed plate.
