Sony-Specific Ceiling Mount

This aluminium ceiling mount is built exclusively for Sony VPL-VW270ES, VW295ES, VW570ES and VW695ES projectors. The CNC-machined plate fits the mounting points on those four models without covering vents or controls. It positions the projector roughly 5 inches from the ceiling and includes every screw and bolt needed for wood or drywall installation.

Fixed-Distance Installers vs Drop-Ceiling Jobs

The mount suits installers who want a rigid, low-profile hang on a solid ceiling and appreciate the 360-degree yaw with ±80-degree tilt and roll for precise image alignment. It is not designed for suspended-grid or false ceilings, so buyers needing a drop-ceiling kit or an adjustable extension column should look at other mounting systems.

6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminium Construction

The entire bracket is machined from 6061-T6 alloy, giving a high strength-to-weight ratio that resists flex over years of use. This material choice directly supports the precise fit and long-term stability required by the compatible Sony models.

Questions about this item

Does this mount work with my Sony VPL-VW270ES, VW295ES, VW570ES, or VW695ES?

Yes, the CNC-machined plate is built specifically for those four Sony models and will not fit other projectors.

What does the 360-degree rotation and 80-degree tilt actually let me do once installed?

You can point the lens in any horizontal direction and angle it up or down 80 degrees for off-centre placement.

How does the 5-inch fixed drop affect where the image lands on my screen?

The projector sits roughly 5 inches below the ceiling, so factor that height into your throw-distance calculation.
