Targeted Ceiling Mount for Sony Home-Cinema

This ceiling mount is built specifically for the Sony VPL-VW260ES, VPL-VW285ES, VPL-VW360ES and VW385ES models. It uses a CNC-machined mounting plate that matches those projectors exactly, leaving room for heat to escape. The design suits installers who need a dedicated fit rather than a universal bracket.

Telescoping Extension with Lateral Shift Coupling

The telescoping column sets the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments. A lateral shift coupling adds 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side adjustment to centre the lens when the mounting surface is off-centre. All installation hardware and detailed instructions are included for a quick setup.

6061-T6 Aluminium Construction for Fixed

The entire mount is machined from 100% 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for long-term rigidity. It rotates 360 degrees and allows pitch and roll adjustment in any direction. This mount is not intended for drop or false ceilings, so buyers with suspended-grid ceilings will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminium mounting plate or telescoping tube ever need replacing?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and designed to last, so no routine replacement of the plate or tube is expected.

What limits how far the projector can sit from the ceiling?

The telescoping extension adjusts in 1-inch steps and stops at a maximum of 20 inches from the ceiling.

Does the mount add any fan noise or heat once the projector runs all day?

The mount itself has no moving parts or power draw; it leaves open space around the projector so heat can escape freely.
