Sony VPL-XW Series Ceiling Mount

This ceiling mount is designed exclusively for Sony VPL-XW5000ES, XW6000ES, and XW7000ES home cinema projectors. It provides a dedicated mounting solution that ensures a precise fit for these specific models without relying on universal adapters.

Sustained Load Stability

The mount is constructed from 100 percent 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum to maintain structural integrity during continuous operation. CNC machining ensures the projector hangs securely while allowing adequate space around the chassis for heat to escape during extended viewing sessions.

Build Quality and Daily Adjustment

A lateral shift coupling provides one and a half inches of left and right adjustment to center the lens when the ceiling mounting point is off-axis. The assembly rotates 360 degrees with pitch and roll articulation for image alignment and sets the projector approximately five inches from the ceiling surface.

Questions about this item

Does the mount add heat or noise when the Sony VPL-XW5000ES runs all day?

The open CNC-machined plate leaves space for the projector's own cooling, and the fixed aluminium structure has no moving parts or fans.

What must I already own to install the SONY-VPL-XW5000ES-SLOTTED mount?

A solid ceiling joist or concrete slab plus basic hand tools; all mounting hardware and instructions are included.

Will the 5-inch drop and 360-degree rotation work with my existing Sony VPL-XW6000ES or VPL-XW7000ES?

Yes — the plate is machined for those exact models, and the lateral shift coupling adds 1-1/2 inches of side adjustment for off-centre ceilings.
