Sony VPL-XW6100ES & VPL-XW8100ES Ceiling Mount

This projector ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Sony Bravia VPL-XW6100ES and VPL-XW8100ES series models. It provides a secure, model-specific attachment point for professional or home cinema installations. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures precise fitment using minimal projector coverage while allowing adequate heat dissipation. It is not a universal mount and will not fit other projector makes or models.

Fixed 5-Inch Drop With 360° Rotation

The mount positions the projector approximately 5 inches from the ceiling surface and allows 360-degree rotation plus pitch and roll adjustment in any direction. A Lateral Shift Coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right lateral adjustment to center the lens when the mounting surface is not aligned with the screen center. This fixed drop length cannot be altered, and the mount is not intended for drop or false ceiling installations where additional extension would be required.

CNC Aluminium Build With Included Hardware

Constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium, the mount includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for quick installation. The mounting plate you receive may differ visually from product images but is guaranteed to fit only the listed Sony models. Installers must verify the ceiling structure can support the projector weight, as no universal mounting template or structural hardware for false ceilings is provided.

Questions about this item

Which Sony projector models does this mount fit?

The mount is designed for Sony Bravia VPL-XW6100ES and VPL-XW8100ES in -B and -W variants, with a CNC-machined plate that matches only those models.

What does the 360-degree rotation mean for positioning?

The mount can be rotated a full 360 degrees and pitched or rolled in any direction, letting you aim the lens precisely from a fixed ceiling point.

How does the 5-inch drop affect the installation?

The mount holds the projector roughly 5 inches below the ceiling surface, so plan your screen height and cable routing around that fixed offset.
