Telescoping Extension 13-20 Inches

This ceiling mount positions a compatible ViewSonic projector 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling in one-inch increments. The telescoping column is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for rigidity. A lateral-shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side adjustment to centre the lens when the mounting point is off-centre. The unit rotates 360 degrees and allows pitch and roll in any direction.

Replaces Universal Mounts for Listed Models

The plate is CNC-machined to fit only the ViewSonic PJD6550W PJD6552W PJD7325 and PJD7525W models so no universal adapter kit is required. Upgrading from a generic mount is worthwhile when the installer needs precise lens alignment without shims and wants the projector held closer to the ceiling than a fixed drop allows. The design leaves clearance around vents so heat can escape freely.

Build Integration Requirements

The mount attaches directly to a structural ceiling joist or concrete slab; it is not rated for drop or false-ceiling grids. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included in the box. Because the plate is model-specific the projector cannot be swapped for a different make or series without purchasing a new plate. The 13-inch minimum drop frees vertical space in rooms with standard ceiling heights.
