Model-Specific Ceiling Mount

This aluminium ceiling mount is engineered exclusively for the ViewSonic PJD8353s and PJD8653ws projectors. It replaces universal brackets that can block vents or leave the lens off-centre. Installers who need a precise, model-matched fit without modifying generic hardware will use this kit.

Sustained Thermal Clearance

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 plate covers only the required mounting points, leaving maximum open space around the projector chassis for continuous airflow. Under long operating sessions the mount does not trap heat against the housing, and the fixed 10-inch drop keeps the lens path clear of ceiling-level obstructions.

Upgrade From Universal Brackets

This mount replaces adjustable universal arms that require shimming, block exhaust vents, or flex under vibration. The jump is worth it when the installer needs a rigid, model-specific platform that ships with every bolt and spacer for drywall or wooden beams and cannot accommodate drop-ceiling grids.

Questions about this item

How much heat clearance does the 10-inch extension provide for the ViewSonic PJD8353s?

The mount sets the projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling, leaving adequate space for heat to escape during all-day operation.

What hardware must I already have to secure this mount to a drywall ceiling or wooden beam?

All necessary installation hardware for drywall or wooden beams is included in the package.

Will the fixed projector plate fit my older ViewSonic PJD8653ws without blocking its vents?

The CNC-machined plate is designed exclusively for the listed models, using minimal coverage to preserve ventilation.
