Optoma CinemaX P2 Ceiling Mount

This ceiling mount is designed exclusively for Optoma CinemaX P2 projector models. It positions the unit approximately five inches from the ceiling surface. The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and includes all necessary installation hardware.

Replaces Universal Mounts

Unlike universal mounts, this model uses a CNC machined plate for precise fitment and minimal projector coverage. The design leaves adequate space for heat to escape during operation. It is worth choosing when a dedicated fit and lateral shift adjustment are required for off-centre ceiling joists.

Check Projector Model And Ceiling Type

Verify that your projector is an Optoma CinemaX P2 before ordering because the plate will only fit the models listed in the title. This mount is not intended for drop or false ceilings. Ensure the mounting surface can support the assembly and allows the fixed extension length.

Questions about this item

What ceiling clearance does the OPTOMA-CINEMAXP2-SLOTTED mount require?

The mount positions the projector roughly 5 inches from the ceiling, so you need at least that much vertical space plus the projector height.

Which step is most often missed when installing the OPTOMA-CINEMAXP2-SLOTTED mount?

Using the 1-1/2 inch lateral shift coupling to centre the lens after the plate is secured; skipping it leaves the image off-centre.

What part of the OPTOMA-CINEMAXP2-SLOTTED mount may need replacement over time?

The included mounting hardware is steel and can corrode in humid environments; swap corroded bolts to maintain a secure hold.
