Direct-Fit Ceiling Mount for Optoma Projectors

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Optoma W316, W316ST, W350, W351, W402, X312, X315 and X316 models. The mounting plate is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium to ensure a precise, secure fit. All necessary installation hardware and detailed instructions are included in the box.

Lateral-Shift Adjustment for Off-Centre Installs

A built-in lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right travel to centre the lens when the ceiling joist does not align with the screen. The telescoping column adjusts from 13 to 20 inches in 1-inch increments and the assembly rotates 360 degrees with full pitch and roll articulation. This mount is not designed for drop or false ceilings.

6061-T6 Aluminium Construction and Fixed Model List

The entire structure uses 100% 6061-T6 aluminium for rigidity and corrosion resistance. Compatibility is limited to the Optoma models listed above; projectors outside this series will not attach to the supplied plate. Buyers needing a universal mount or a shorter fixed drop should consider a different product.

Questions about this item

What ceiling-to-projector distance does the telescoping extension cover?

The mount telescopes in 1 inch increments to place the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling.

How does the Lateral Shift Coupling help when the ceiling joist is off-centre?

It provides 1-1/2 inches of left or right adjustment so the lens can be centred on the screen without moving the ceiling anchor.

What material upkeep does the 6061-T6 aluminium mounting plate need over time?

No routine maintenance is required; the aircraft-grade aluminium resists corrosion and the hardware remains secure after the initial torque check.
