Questions about this item

Will this mount attach directly to my Vivitek DX833 without needing a separate adapter plate?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate is made specifically for the DX833, D96A-BK and DX976WT so no extra adapter is required.

Can I still aim the projector image correctly if my ceiling joists force the mount off-centre?

The arm provides 360-degree swivel plus 35-degree pitch and roll adjustment to compensate for off-centre mounting.

How do I confirm the projector is sitting at the intended 4-inch drop after installation?

Measure from the ceiling surface to the projector base; it should read roughly four inches when the mount is fully seated.
