10-inch Extension Mount for Vivitek Projectors

This ceiling mount positions compatible Vivitek projectors approximately 10 inches from the ceiling. It is designed exclusively for the DW284-ST, DW28DAAST, DX273, DX27CAA, and DX283-ST models. The CNC-machined mounting plate is made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for a precise, secure fit.

Full Range of Motion Under Constant Load

The mount rotates 360 degrees and tilts up to 80 degrees in any direction, holding the projector steady at the chosen angle. The rigid aluminum construction resists flex during continuous operation. The design minimises coverage of the projector body, leaving adequate space for heat to escape during sustained use.

Replaces Generic Mounts for Listed Vivitek Models

This accessory replaces universal mounts that may not align with the specific mounting points of the DW284-ST, DW28DAAST, DX273, DX27CAA, or DX283-ST. The upgrade is worth it when a model-specific fit is required to ensure proper weight distribution and ventilation clearance. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Questions about this item

Does the 10‑inch extension length change how much heat can escape from the Vivitek DW284‑ST projector?

The mount leaves adequate space around the projector for heat to escape despite the 10‑inch drop.

What ceiling structure must I already have to install this mount?

You need a drywall ceiling or a wooden beam for the included hardware.

Will the 360‑degree rotation and 80‑degree tilt work with my older Vivitek DX273?

Yes, the CNC‑machined plate fits the DX273 and allows full 360° rotation plus ±80° tilt.
