Scale and Detail

This Promotex model is a 1/87 scale plastic replica of a 3-axle double-drop flatbed trailer with a silver top. It is designed for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value true-to-scale accuracy in their rolling stock.

Dimensions and Assembly

The trailer measures approximately 6.625 inches in length and features detailed interior and exterior surfaces. The model arrives in a brand new, unopened box and requires some simple assembly before it can be displayed or integrated into an HO layout.

Display Limitations

The unit has no functional openings, so it suits static display rather than operational loading scenarios. Collectors seeking models with opening doors, removable tarps or working fifth-wheel mechanisms will need to look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/87 scale trailer match my existing HO rolling stock?

Yes, the model is built to 1/87 (HO) scale so it will run alongside other HO-scale wagons and locomotives on the same track.

How can I verify the trailer is correctly assembled and detailed?

Check that the double-drop deck, three-axle chassis and silver top finish match the prototype photos and that all moulded exterior and interior details are present.

Does the box include glue, paint or a tractor unit, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the unassembled plastic trailer kit; any adhesive, paint or prime mover must be purchased separately.
