Top-loading CD boombox with AM/FM radio

The PROSCAN PRCD261-BLACK plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs and includes a built-in AM/FM tuner for local stations. Two 2.25-inch speakers deliver 2.4 watts RMS across a 120Hz to 12kHz range. A 3.5mm aux input connects phones or MP3 players. The unit weighs 3.1 lb and measures 10.5 x 6 x 9.25 inches.

AC or battery power with simple top-load mechanism

Plug the included AC cord into mains or insert six C batteries (sold separately) for portable use. The top-loading door opens upward, so place the boombox where the lid has clearance. No software or pairing is required; playback starts when a disc is inserted and the play button is pressed.

Check power source and audio sources before ordering

Confirm you have a nearby mains outlet or a supply of C cells for outdoor sessions. Verify that any external device you plan to use has a 3.5mm headphone output for the aux jack. The boombox does not support Bluetooth or digital streaming, so wireless-only sources will not connect.
