Vehicle Fitment

This Protekz LED fog light kit is built for 2016-2017 Acura RDX models using H11 sockets. It replaces the factory halogen bulbs directly without extra wiring or adapters. The kit suits drivers who want brighter fog output in a plug-and-play package.

Output and Thermal Limits

Each bulb delivers 6000 lumens for a combined 12000 lumens at 6000K colour temperature. The CREE LMD chips reach full brightness instantly and are rated for over 50000 hours of operation. A turbo fan spinning up to 12000 RPM keeps the housing at roughly 85 degrees Celsius. The aviation-grade 6063 aluminium shell and IP68 sealing handle temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius.

Electrical Envelope

The bulbs accept DC 9V to 32V, covering both 12V and 24V vehicle systems. They draw about 2 amps each at 120 watts total per pair. A built-in smart chip manages fan speed and makes the kit Canbus-ready for most modern electrical architectures. Buyers needing higher voltage ranges or lower current draw should look elsewhere.
