Refill Cartridge for TFX Dispensers

This Provon 5382-02 pack supplies two 1200 ml foam hand soap cartridges designed for the TFX 2745-12 dispenser. The fragrance-free formula is biodegradable, dye-free and paraben-free. It delivers a gentle cleansing action with added moisturisers for frequent hand washing. The clear foam rinses cleanly without leaving a gritty residue.

Hygiene Standards and Formula Profile

The soap carries EcoLogo certification to UL 2784 and meets USDA guidelines for biobased content. Its dye-free and paraben-free composition reduces the risk of skin irritation in high-traffic settings. Because the product contains no added fragrance, it suits environments where scent sensitivity is a concern. The biodegradable foam breaks down readily in standard wastewater systems.

Not Suitable for Non-TFX Systems

These cartridges require the matching TFX dispenser and will not fit bulk-fill or proprietary pump units. Facilities without the 2745-12 dispenser cannot use this refill directly. The two-pack quantity may exceed the needs of very small offices or single-station washrooms. Buyers seeking scented or antimicrobial variants should select a different formulation.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1200 ml cartridge into the TFX dispenser, and what step is often missed?

Align the cartridge with the 2745-12 dispenser opening, push firmly until it clicks, then prime the pump by pressing several times; the step often missed is priming, which prevents air bubbles and ensures foam dispenses immediately.

What maintenance or replacement will the cartridge need after the 1200 ml of foam soap is used?

The cartridge is single-use and not refillable; once the 1200 ml volume is depleted, replace the entire cartridge with a new 5382-02 unit — no pump or internal parts are serviced separately.

What limit appears first during sustained high-traffic use of the 1200 ml cartridge?

The 1200 ml capacity is the first limit; in heavy traffic the cartridge empties quickly, requiring a full cartridge swap to restore foam output — no mechanical wear or pump failure occurs before the soap runs out.
