- pass-through adapter compatibility speeds up system reconfiguration
- professional-grade construction suits studio installs and home AV racks
Purpose-built punch panel
The ProX 1U rack panel arrives with sixteen pre-punched openings sized for XLR and similar connectors. It targets installers and integrators who build custom patch bays for studio, stage or fixed-installation racks.
Reinforced steel construction
Edges are strengthened on both sides to resist flexing when cables are mated or unmated under tension. The rigid frame keeps connector alignment true over repeated setup and teardown cycles in touring or permanent systems.
Fixed sixteen-hole layout
The panel accommodates exactly sixteen panel-mount connectors such as XLR male, XLR female, Speaker Twist or PowerCon types. Builds requiring a different count or mixed cut-out sizes need a separate blank panel and custom punching.

Questions about this item
What connectors can the 16 punched holes on this 1U panel accept?
The panel accommodates XLR male, XLR female, Speaker Twist, Power Connection panel-mount connectors and pass-through connector adapters for custom cabling.
What rack dimensions and reinforcement does this panel require for mounting?
It occupies a single 1U rack space and is reinforced on both edges to minimise flexing when cables are connected.
How do you install connectors into the punched holes, and what is the common mistake?
Snap or screw each connector into a punched cut-out from the front; the frequent error is forcing a connector into a hole pattern it does not match, which damages the panel.
