Purpose-Built Protection

The ProX XS-CD is a flight case engineered specifically for large-format CD and media players. It serves touring DJs and installers who need a rugged enclosure that survives repeated transport while keeping front controls and disc slots accessible.

Capacity and Limits

The interior fits most large-format players and uses high-density foam to immobilise the unit during transit. A removable front panel gives instant access to controls and the disc eject mechanism, while a rear cable port keeps connections intact. The case is not designed for rackmount gear or smaller tabletop controllers that fall outside the large-format footprint.

ATA-300 Construction

Built to ATA-300 Gig Ready specifications with Signature Series honeycomb-laminated 3/8" plywood, steel ball corners and spring-action recessed handles, the case has protected equipment since 1984. The hexagonal grid shell surface identifies the Honeycomb Digital line.

Questions about this item

Will the removable front panel on this ProX XS-CD case still let me reach the controls on my older large-format CD player?

The removable front panel is designed for easy access to front controls and the CD input/eject slot on large-format media players.

How can I check the spring-action recessed handles are seated correctly after I load the case?

Each handle should sit flush in its recess and spring back firmly when pulled; a loose or stuck handle indicates the latch needs adjustment.

Does the case ship with the high-density foam interior already fitted, or do I need to buy foam separately?

High-density foam interior support and casing are built into the case, so no separate foam purchase is required.
