8-GPU mining chassis with 2000W PSU

The Pstaroth MC02 is a desktop server chassis built to hold eight graphics cards on a dedicated mining motherboard. Four 120 mm silent fans and an 80 mm CPU fan push air from the bottom to the top of the frame. A 2000W power supply is included, and the system draws less than 150W without GPUs. It runs Windows 10 or Linux.

Suits miners scaling to eight cards.

This frame targets operators who want a single, stable rig that can be replicated across a large deployment. Builders planning only one or two GPUs will find the eight-slot layout and high-capacity PSU excessive. Anyone needing a standard ATX motherboard layout or a compact case for home use should look elsewhere.

Needs user-supplied GPUs, storage and OS.

You must add your own graphics cards, hard drive and operating system. The motherboard provides eight PCI-E and x16 slots directly, so no riser cables are required. Choose a PSU matched to your GPU count — 1600W and 1800W units are also available — and the open steel frame leaves ample room for future expansion.

Questions about this item

What power supply capacity do I need to run all eight GPUs in the MC02 chassis?

The included unit is 2000W; the supplier also offers 1600W and 1800W options and advises selecting the PSU according to the number of graphics cards used.

Will my existing PCIe x1 or x16 graphics cards fit the motherboard supplied with this chassis?

The motherboard provides eight PCI-E and x16 slots and does not require a patch cable, so standard PCIe GPUs install directly.

How can I verify the cooling system is keeping the GPUs at safe temperatures after assembly?

Four 120mm silent fans plus one 80mm CPU fan create ground-to-ground airflow; monitor GPU temperatures in your mining software to confirm they remain within normal operating limits.
