Questions about this item

What wall outlet style does the PureGear LightSpeed 63978 plug into?

The charger mounts directly into a standard AC wall receptacle; its integrated prongs fold flat so it sits flush against the outlet without blocking the second socket.

How do I get the full 30 W from the USB-C port on this 42 W charger?

Use a USB-C cable rated for at least 30 W and a device that negotiates 30 W over USB Power Delivery; the port will not push 30 W if the cable or device only supports a lower profile.

When should I replace the PureGear LightSpeed 63978 wall charger?

Replace it if the housing cracks, the prongs become loose, either port stops delivering its rated 30 W or 12 W output, or the unit becomes unusually warm during normal charging.
