Screen protector for iPhone 16 Pro Max

The PureGear Steel 360 is a tempered glass screen protector made for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It uses Japanese tempered glass with Nano Silver Technology that guards the surface against germs. The transparent finish preserves the original screen appearance while adding a hardened layer. It is designed for owners who want scratch and drop defence without a full case enclosure.

Protection limits of tempered glass

Tempered glass absorbs impact by spreading force across its surface, but it can still crack under severe point loads or extreme bending. The protector covers the flat display area and is case friendly, so it works with most wraparound cases that do not overlap the glass edge. It does not extend over curved edges or protect the rear glass. Users who need full-body coverage or military-grade drop ratings will need a different product type.

Build quality and daily use

The pack includes a patented Perfect Alignment Tray that positions the protector precisely for a bubble-free bond. Once applied, the adhesive holds firmly without leaving residue on removal. The glass resists everyday scratches from keys or coins and maintains touch sensitivity. The clear finish does not reduce screen brightness or colour accuracy. Installation takes a minute and requires no liquid or special tools.

Questions about this item

What does the 360 in the Steel 360 name refer to on this screen protector?

The 360 indicates full-edge coverage that wraps around the curved display of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, protecting the front surface and the rounded sides in one piece.

How does the included alignment tray help during installation?

The patented Perfect Alignment Tray snaps onto the iPhone 16 Pro Max and guides the tempered glass into exact position, eliminating bubbles and misalignment without trial and error.

Will this protector work with a case already on the phone?

Yes, the case-friendly fit leaves enough margin at the edges so most slim and standard cases for the iPhone 16 Pro Max can be installed without lifting the glass.
