Extra-large flushable wipes

PURELL US1TW40 delivers 40 extra-large wipes measuring 195 mm by 160 mm for thorough personal cleansing. Each wipe contains 99 percent water, organic aloe vera and mild cleansers without fragrance, dyes, alcohol or chlorine. The formulation suits adults with sensitive or eczema-prone skin. They are certified vegan, cruelty-free and carbon-neutral.

Biodegradable plant-fibre construction

Wipes are made from 100 percent plastic-free, biodegradable plant fibres sourced sustainably. A soft resealable lid keeps the stack moist while minimising plastic use. The outer film uses polyethylene mono-material marked with recyclability code four. Certified flushability to IWSFG and INDA GD4 standards means the cloth disperses in wastewater systems.

Single-pack convenience limits

One pack holds 40 wipes, so frequent users will need to restock regularly. The flushable design works with standard plumbing but may not suit septic systems with limited capacity. Buyers who want bulk quantities or a dispenser-style tub will find this format restrictive. The resealable lid relies on manual closure to maintain moisture between uses.

Questions about this item

What flushability standards do the wipes meet, and what does that mean for my plumbing?

The wipes are tested to EDANA GD4 and IWSFG standards, meaning they are designed to break down in wastewater systems and are safe to flush.

What are the exact dimensions of each wipe, and will they fit in a standard dispenser?

Each wipe measures 195 mm by 160 mm, an extra-large size that may not fit compact dispensers designed for smaller sheets.

How do I open the pack and keep the remaining wipes moist after the first use?

Lift the resealable lid on the top of the pack, pull a wipe through the opening, and press the lid firmly shut to maintain moisture.
