It replaces a lost or damaged original power supply for home or small-office networking equipment. The unit accepts worldwide mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz. It is CE, FCC and RoHS certified for electrical safety.

Wall-Mount Power Supply For Network Gear

The adapter plugs directly into a standard wall outlet and delivers DC output through a fixed cable measuring 6.6 feet. No additional power brick or extension cord is required to reach a desk or rack shelf. Builders should verify the connector tip size against product images before installation. The compact form factor leaves adjacent sockets free for other devices.

Protection Features And Single-Unit Package

Over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits guard connected switches during prolonged operation. The package includes one new AC DC adapter charger with no extra cables or mounting hardware. Questions about this item

What is the longest continuous load the adapter can sustain before its over-heat protection activates?

The adapter includes over-heat protection that will shut it down if internal temperature rises too high during extended use.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when powering a switch all day?

It is a sealed wall-mount supply with no fan, so it runs silently and generates only modest warmth under normal load.

Which D-Link models must I already own for this charger to be compatible?

It is built for the GO-SW-5G, GO-SW-8G, KVM-440, KVM-450 and DSS-8E switches; verify the DC output and tip size match your unit before connecting.
