Replacement charger for BOSS and Roland devices

The PWRON HKA00509005-2P is a non-OEM AC DC adapter built for BOSS and Roland equipment that requires a 9V DC supply. It delivers between 0.5A and 1A for a maximum of 4.5W, matching the original power specification for compatible pedals and modules.

Works worldwide on 100-240V mains

The adapter accepts AC input from 100V to 240V at 50Hz or 60Hz, so it operates on mains power in most countries without a separate voltage converter. A 6.6FT (2M) cord gives enough reach for typical desktop or pedalboard setups while the barrel tip must match the device exactly.

Tip polarity and dimensions decide compatibility

The critical specification is the DC connector size and polarity shown in the product images; the unit will not power the device if the tip does not fit or the polarity is reversed. Buyers who cannot confirm the exact barrel dimensions from their original supply should not order this adapter.

Questions about this item

Which PWRON HKA00509005-2P output rating matches my device?

The adapter delivers 9 V at 0.5 A to 1 A, giving a maximum of 4.5 W; choose it only if your equipment specifies exactly 9 V DC within that current range.

What does the 4.5 W rating mean when the charger is plugged in?

It is the maximum continuous power the unit can supply at 9 V DC; actual draw depends on the connected device and will not exceed 4.5 W.

What AC input standard does the HKA00509005-2P accept and what does that cap?

It accepts 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz, so it works on mains worldwide without a voltage selector; the 4.5 W DC output limit remains the same on any input voltage.
