Marine wakeboard speaker system

The Pyle dual 8‑inch speaker set is built for marine, wakeboard and off‑road vehicles. It delivers up to 300W maximum output through titanium dome tweeters and injection cone woofers. Bluetooth 4.0 streams audio wirelessly from smartphones and other devices. IP‑44 water‑resistant construction and corrosion‑resistant ABS housing withstand splashes and harsh outdoor conditions.

IP‑44 water‑resistant rating

The IP‑44 rating is the single specification that decides whether this system suits your installation. It protects against water splashes from any direction, making the speakers viable for open‑boat decks, wakeboard towers and roll cages. Without this rating the drivers would fail quickly in spray or rain. Buyers who need full submersion protection should look elsewhere.

300W peak power and 2.35‑inch bar mount

The 300W peak capacity handles loud playback across lakes, trails or dunes with comfortable headroom for dynamic transients. Continuous high‑volume use will eventually reach thermal limits, so extended full‑power sessions are not advised. Universal brackets clamp securely to bars up to 2.35 inches in diameter, covering most wakeboard towers and roll‑cage tubing. Installations requiring larger‑diameter mounts cannot use the supplied hardware.

Questions about this item

How loud will the 300 W rating actually be on the water?

The 300 W figure is a peak power rating for the pair; real-world volume will depend on amplifier gain, source level and ambient noise, but the system is designed to cut through wind and wake noise on a moving boat.

What does Bluetooth 4.0 limit for streaming range and quality?

Bluetooth 4.0 supports standard A2DP audio streaming with a typical open-air range of about ten metres; walls, metal structures or interference can reduce that distance.

Will the mounting brackets fit a 2.35 in tower bar on my wakeboard boat?

Yes, the included universal hardware is made for bars up to 2.35 in diameter, so it will clamp securely to standard wakeboard tower tubing.
