5.1-Channel Bluetooth Receiver

The Pyle PDA7BU is a 5.1-channel home-theatre amplifier that delivers 200 watts across five speaker channels plus a subwoofer output. It adds wireless Bluetooth streaming, dual 6.35 mm microphone inputs with echo control, USB and SD card playback, FM radio and a front 3.5 mm auxiliary jack. The package includes a remote control, rack-mount brackets and an FM antenna for immediate setup.

Analogue-Only Connectivity Limits

All audio inputs and outputs on this receiver are analogue: three RCA line inputs, a 3.5 mm front auxiliary jack, two 6.35 mm microphone jacks and RCA pre-out for a powered subwoofer. There are no HDMI, digital optical or coaxial ports, so modern TVs, game consoles or streaming boxes must connect via their analogue outputs or an external converter. The Bluetooth receiver handles only stereo streaming, not multi-channel audio.

Upgrade From Basic Stereo Amps

This unit replaces a simple two-channel stereo amplifier when a listener wants discrete centre and surround channels for movies or karaoke without investing in a full AV receiver. The jump is worthwhile if you already own passive 5.1 speakers and need an all-in-one box that adds microphone mixing, USB/SD media playback and Bluetooth convenience. Buyers who require digital surround decoding, HDMI switching or network streaming will need a different class of product.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the five channels and the subwoofer output for my speaker layout?

The unit drives five channels at 200 watts — front right, front left, centre, surround left and surround right — and adds a dedicated subwoofer output so you can run a full 5.1 system from one box.

What does the 200 watt rating actually deliver when I connect speakers?

It provides 200 watts total across the five amplifier channels, giving each front, centre and surround speaker a share of that power for room-filling sound.

Which connections does the Bluetooth interface support for streaming and wired sources?

Bluetooth handles wireless streaming from phones or tablets, while the rear panel offers 3.5 mm aux, two 6.35 mm mic jacks, three RCA inputs, USB and SD card slots for wired playback.
