Kit contents and fit

The package includes two 8 dBi RP-SMA antennas, two M.2 extension cables and a half-height bracket for mini PCs. It connects a compatible M.2 wireless card to external antennas, improving reception without generating a signal itself. The bracket suits low-profile chassis only and is not designed for standard ATX cases.

Sustained signal behaviour

The antennas cover 2400-2500 MHz and 5150-5850 MHz with 50 ohm impedance and omni-directional radiation. Each 160 mm antenna and 30 cm cable assembly maintains the link for Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac and Bluetooth under continuous load. Cards such as AX210, 8265 and 9560NGW are listed as compatible.

Thermals, noise and power

As a passive antenna kit it produces no heat, draws no power and emits no noise. The thin 0.63 mm bracket adds negligible airflow restriction inside a mini PC. Installation simply routes the RP-SMA cables through the bracket holes to the exterior.

Questions about this item

Does the 8dBi antenna add noticeable heat or power draw when the mini PC runs continuously?

The antenna is a passive component with no power input, so it generates no heat and adds no electrical load to the system.

Which M.2 wireless cards are confirmed compatible with the IPEX MHF4 cable and RP-SMA connectors?

The kit supports M.2 cards such as AX210, 8265 and 9560NGW that use the 4th generation U.FL (IPX) MHF4 interface.

Will the half-height bracket fit a standard ATX case if I keep my older full-size chassis?

The bracket measures 80mm total length and 0.63mm slim profile, designed only for half-height or low-profile cases, not standard ATX.
