200 UL-listed waterproof butt connectors with tinned copper cores and 3:1 shrink ratio suit 16-14 AWG wire in automotive and marine wiring
This kit supplies 200 blue heat-shrink butt connectors sized for 16 to 14 AWG wire. The tinned copper cores deliver strong crimps and high conductivity for reliable splices. They suit automotive, marine and general electrical wiring tasks where a waterproof seal is required. UL listing confirms the product meets recognised safety standards.
Each connector uses a 3:1 polyolefin shrink tube lined with hot-melt adhesive to create a watertight bond. The tubing begins to shrink at 175 °F and the assembly is rated for continuous operation from -60 °F to 260 °F. A heat gun is needed to activate the adhesive and complete the seal; crimping alone will not waterproof the joint.
Confirm that every conductor you plan to splice falls within the 16 to 14 AWG (1.5 to 2.5 mm²) range; thicker or thinner wires will not seal correctly. Ensure you have a suitable crimping tool for the tinned copper barrel and a heat gun capable of reaching the minimum shrink temperature. The connectors are single-use and cannot be reopened once heated.

The 200-piece pack suits occasional repairs or a single vehicle job; larger 500-piece and 1000-piece kits are available for workshops or fleet maintenance.
It covers wires from 1.5 to 2.5 mm², typical for lighting, accessory and sensor circuits in automotive and marine wiring.
The tubing shrinks to one-third its original diameter and the hot-melt adhesive flows at 175 °F, creating a waterproof, corrosion-resistant joint rated from -60 °F to 260 °F.
