20 Gbps Infiniband host adapter

The QLogic QLE7240 is a low-profile PCIe x8 host channel adapter that delivers 20 Gbps Infiniband DDR connectivity. It is built for servers and workstations that need deterministic, low-latency fabric links in compute clusters or storage networks. The card fits standard and low-profile slots with the included bracket. Buyers who need Ethernet or Fibre Channel interfaces cannot use this adapter.

Standard and low-profile brackets included

The package supplies both a standard-height bracket and a low-profile bracket so the card can be installed in 1U racks or full-height chassis without extra parts. No cables, transceivers or driver media are bundled, so those items must be sourced separately. Administrators who expect a complete kit with optics will need to purchase them separately.
