Practical limits of paper sleeves

The paper construction shields discs from surface abrasion and airborne particles but cannot guard against impact, moisture or extreme temperatures. The transparent window aids visual sorting without opening each envelope, yet it adds no structural rigidity. The flap closure relies on friction alone, so sleeves may open if handled roughly.
