Dual 10-inch ported horn enclosure

The QPower QBOMB10HP houses two 10-inch subwoofers in a vented design tuned to 30 Hz. Each chamber provides 2.0 cubic feet of air space for deep, powerful bass output. The enclosure measures 17 x 36 x 14.25 inches and uses a middle slot port. A black bedliner spray finish protects the 0.75-inch MDF construction.

Ported tuning and air space constraints

The fixed 30 Hz tuning frequency and 2.0 cubic feet per subwoofer limit flexibility for different driver parameters. Builders needing a sealed response or alternative tuning cannot adjust the port. The dual vented chamber design with middle slot port defines the low-frequency behaviour. Subwoofers must match the specified air space and cutout diameter for proper performance.

Installation fit and common issues

The box requires a cutout diameter of 9 inch and mounting depth of 20 inch for each driver. Spring loaded terminals simplify wiring connections. The 36-inch width may not fit behind every rear seat or in smaller trunks. Verify vehicle cargo dimensions before purchase to avoid clearance problems.

Questions about this item

Which enclosure volume suits two 10-inch subwoofers?

This dual-chamber box provides 2.0 cubic feet of air space per subwoofer, matching the spec for a pair of 10-inch drivers.

What bass extension does the 30 Hz tuning deliver in a vehicle?

The 30 Hz tuning frequency lets the ported design produce deep, powerful low-frequency output that you feel as well as hear.

How does the slot-port design affect airflow and output?

The middle slot port in the dual vented chambers reduces port noise and allows high airflow for loud, clean bass at the tuned frequency.
