Questions about this item

How do I install the tent on my 5.2 ft truck bed, and which step do people often get wrong?

Slide the fiberglass poles through the sleeves, then clamp the tent corners to the bed rails before tensioning the poles; the common mistake is tightening the poles before the corners are fully seated, which twists the 210D fabric and misaligns the 64.9 in width.

What maintenance or replacement will the tent need after repeated trips?

Inspect the PU5000 coating for abrasion after each season and reapply seam sealer if water beads stop forming; the fiberglass poles can develop hairline fractures after heavy wind events, so carry a spare pole section for the 67 in height frame.

What limit appears first when the tent is used continuously in rain and wind?

The PU5000mm waterproof rating resists standing water, but sustained high winds stress the fiberglass pole junctions before the 210D oxford fabric shows wear, so reduce guy-line tension during gusts above moderate levels.
