Clear polypropylene lid for 21-inch shelves

This Quantum Storage Systems lid measures 17 inches high and 21 inches wide across the outside. It is moulded from clear polypropylene and carries FDA-approved material status. The pack contains six identical lids for use on matching shelving units.

Sustained load behaviour

The rigid polypropylene construction resists bowing when items rest on the lid for long periods. Clear material lets you confirm contents without removing the cover. Buyers needing an opaque or coloured lid for light-sensitive goods should choose a different finish.

Questions about this item

Does the clear polypropylene lid produce any heat or noise when left on a shelf all day?

No, the clear polypropylene lid is a passive component with no moving parts, so it generates no heat and makes no sound during continuous use.

What existing shelf or bin width must I already have for this 21 in outside-width lid to fit?

The lid is designed for a 21 in outside-width opening, so you need a compatible shelf or bin with that same outside dimension for it to sit correctly.
