Quantum DLTIIIXT tape cartridge

The Quantum THXKE-01 is a single DLTIIIXT tape cartridge offering 15GB native or 30GB compressed capacity. It is intended for organisations that rely on legacy DLT drives for archival or backup workflows. The media arrives new and ready for immediate use in compatible tape libraries or standalone drives.

Replaces worn DLTIIIXT media

This cartridge replaces older DLTIIIXT tapes that have reached end of life or show read errors. The jump is worth it when existing media exceeds recommended pass counts or when verification jobs start to fail. It restores reliable write performance without changing drive hardware or backup software.

Simple drop-in installation

Installation consists of inserting the cartridge into a DLTIIIXT drive; no configuration or formatting utilities are required beyond the backup application. What usually goes wrong is attempting to write the tape in a drive that only supports earlier DLT generations, which results in immediate media rejection.
