Quad-gang keystone wall plate

The Quest NFP-5048 is a white four-port wall plate that accepts standard keystone couplers. It is designed for installers and network managers who want a clean termination point for CAT5E RJ45 inline couplers in residential or light commercial environments.

Fits standard keystone openings

The plate measures 4.875" by 4.75" by 0.25" and mounts to a standard quad-gang electrical box. It allows pre-terminated patch cords to be plugged into both sides of the coupler, removing the need to punch down or crimp cables behind the wall or rack.

Passive mechanical component

As a purely passive bracket, the plate does not generate heat, consume power or degrade under continuous network traffic. Its performance is limited only by the quality of the keystone couplers and patch cables installed in its four ports.

Questions about this item

Will the four keystone ports accept standard CAT5E RJ45 inline couplers without modification?

Yes, the plate is designed for CAT5E RJ45 inline couplers and fits all standard keystone couplers, so each of the four ports accepts them directly.

Does the 0.25-inch depth leave enough clearance behind a standard electrical box for cable routing?

The plate is only 0.25 inches thick, so it adds minimal depth and typically leaves adequate space behind a standard box for cable routing.

What size opening must I cut in the wall or panel for the 4.875 by 4.75-inch quad-gang plate?

Cut an opening that matches the plate's outer dimensions of 4.875 inches by 4.75 inches so the quad-gang plate sits flush.
