Six-Port Keystone Wall Plate

The Quest NFP-5068 is a white six-port keystone wall plate designed for CAT5E RJ45 inline couplers. It accepts standard keystone couplers on both sides so pre-terminated cables can be used without splicing or crimping. The oversized hex-gang layout suits home offices, small-business networks or any installation that needs multiple drop points.

Check Coupler Depth and Mounting Space

Verify that your keystone couplers fit the plate cut-outs and that the wall cavity or surface box provides enough depth for the rear connectors. The plate measures 4.875 by 4.75 by .25 inches, so confirm the opening matches this footprint before ordering. No tools or wiring skills are required beyond seating the couplers.

Stable Pass-Through Under Continuous Traffic

Because the plate is a passive mechanical bracket with no active components, its performance under sustained load is identical to a brief burst — signal integrity depends entirely on the quality of the couplers and cables you install. The rigid white frame keeps ports aligned during repeated plugging cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the Quest NFP-5068 wall plate include the CAT5E RJ45 inline couplers or must they be purchased separately?

The plate ships empty; you need to buy six standard keystone couplers separately to fill the six ports.

Should I choose this six-port hex-gang plate or a smaller version for a single CAT5E run?

Choose the six-port model when you need up to six CAT5E connections in one oversized gang box; a smaller plate suits fewer drops.

What does the 4.875" x 4.75" x 0.25" size mean for fitting the plate into a standard US gang box?

The oversized dimensions cover a standard double-gang opening and the 0.25" depth clears most keystone couplers without protruding.
