Desk Lamp for Curved Monitors

The Quntis ScreenLinear Classic is a 5 watt desk lamp that mounts on curved monitors up to 1000R curvature and flat screens from .19 to 3.54 inches thick. Its 16.7 inch rectangular prism body weighs 940 grams and includes a weighted clip with an adjustment pad that leaves space above for a webcam. The matte gray finish suits professional and gaming setups alike.

Asymmetric Light Limits

The asymmetric light source illuminates the desk without reflecting on the screen, while the built-in ambient sensor keeps brightness steady for eye comfort. Auto-dimming cannot be overridden manually, and the fixed 2 hour timer offers no alternative durations. The 15-step remote slider provides stepless control but requires line of sight to each lamp when multiple units are paired.

Clip Installation and Cable Routing

The dual-pivot clamp adjusts by hand and grips most monitor profiles without tools, though very thin bezels may need the included pad for a secure fit. The L-Type C cable routes behind the clip to avoid blocking a camera mounted above. Users report occasional remote pairing drift after power loss, which is resolved by re-pairing within a few seconds.

Questions about this item

Is the 16.7 in bar suitable for a 22 in monitor?

The bar is designed for 15 to 22 in monitors, so a 22 in screen falls within the supported range.

What does the 5 watt-hour rating mean for daily desk use?

It indicates low power draw; the lamp runs from a USB supply and the auto-dimming sensor adjusts output to ambient light, keeping energy use minimal during long sessions.

How does the USB-C cable affect placement on a curved monitor?

The included L-type USB-C cable routes cleanly behind the triple-section clip, leaving the curved monitor surface and any camera base unobstructed.
