Quntis ScreenLinear 5W USB Monitor Light

The Quntis ScreenLinear is a 5-watt LED monitor light bar that mounts on top of a display using a weighted clip. It draws power from a USB connection and provides adjustable colour temperature between 3000K and 6500K. An integrated ambient light sensor enables automatic dimming to a target of 900 lux. The rectangular bar measures 40.0 inches long, 3.5 inches deep and 0.7 inches high.

Suits screen workers wanting glare-free desk light

This light bar suits anyone who works long hours at a monitor and wants illumination that stops at the desk surface without reflecting on the screen. The asymmetrical optical design keeps light off the panel while lighting documents and keyboards. Buyers who need a freestanding lamp with a base or a model offering wireless remote control should look at other form factors.

Auto-dimming to 900 lux with 3000-6500K range

The built-in ambient light sensor continuously measures surrounding brightness and adjusts output to maintain approximately 900 lux on the work surface. Manual touch controls allow stepless changes to both brightness and colour temperature across the 3000K to 6500K span. This combination of automatic and manual control is the key specification for deciding if the unit matches your workflow.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the Basic Pro or one of the Glow models for my desk?

The ScreenLinear range includes Basic Pro, Glow Pro, Glow Pink and Glow Plus; choose based on the extra features each variant adds such as enhanced colour rendering or wireless control.

What does the 900 lux auto-dimming target mean when I am working at my monitor?

The built-in sensor keeps the desk surface at roughly 900 lux by adjusting output automatically, so the light stays consistent whether the room brightens or darkens.

Does the USB power limit the brightness or colour range of the 3000-6500K LEDs?

The 5 W USB supply drives the full 3000 K to 6500 K range and the 900 lux target without needing an external adapter.
