Extension cable for high-gain Wi-Fi antennas

This 10-foot SMA male-to-female cable links a wireless device to a high-gain antenna. The black jacketed assembly carries the signal between equipment and a remotely mounted antenna. RoHS compliance confirms the materials meet restricted-substance requirements.

Ideal for fixed wireless links needing remote

Installers mounting directional or omni-directional antennas away from the radio benefit from the extra reach. Builders who need a different connector type, a shorter run, or an in-line amplifier should select another product.

Questions about this item

How much signal loss should I expect from the 10ft SMA extension cable in a real Wi-Fi setup?

The 10ft length adds modest attenuation, which is normal for SMA extensions; the cable is built to support 6, 7, 8, 9, 14 & 15 dBi antennas so your high-gain antenna still delivers its rated gain.

What does the SMA male-to-female connection cap in practice for my wireless link?

The SMA male-to-female connectors pass the antenna signal without changing the interface standard; they simply extend the reach between your wireless device and any compatible 6 to 15 dBi directional or omni-directional antenna.
