SATA power splitter for dual drives

This 15-pin male to dual 15-pin female cable splits one SATA power connection into two. The 90-degree down-angle connectors help route cables in tight chassis spaces. Each pack contains two splitter cables measuring 0.20 metre in length. The design supports hard drives, SSDs, optical drives, DVD burners and PCI cards.

90-degree connectors ease cable routing

The right-angle female plugs reduce strain on drive ports and improve airflow in compact cases. Easy-grip treads on each connector simplify removal when access is limited. Plug-and-play installation requires no tools or additional software. The two-cable bundle provides a spare for a second build or future expansion.

Builders adding a second SATA device

Suits anyone expanding storage or adding an optical drive without a free power-supply lead. Not for systems that lack a SATA power port entirely. Buyers needing longer reach or straight connectors should look elsewhere. The short length limits placement to drives mounted near the power supply.

Questions about this item

Will the 15-pin SATA connectors on this splitter cable need periodic replacement?

The 15-pin SATA connectors are rated for repeated mating cycles and do not have a scheduled replacement interval under normal use.

What is the first limit reached when powering two drives continuously through the 0.20 m splitter?

The combined current draw of both drives must stay within the power supply's SATA rail limit, which is the first constraint under sustained load.

Does the 90-degree down-angle design affect heat or airflow around the SATA power connections during all-day operation?

The right-angle plugs sit flush against the drive, leaving the same airflow path as straight connectors and adding no measurable heat.
