Product Identity

The Rain Design mStand360 model 10036 is a silver aluminum laptop stand with a 360-degree swivel base. It raises the screen to eye level and acts as a heat sink to cool the notebook. The open design frees up desktop space for an external keyboard or drawing tablet. It suits users who want a stable, ergonomic workstation for any laptop.

Who This Suits

This stand fits professionals who share their screen during collaboration and need easy access to rear ports via the swivel base. It helps anyone seeking better posture by lifting the display closer to eye level. Buyers who need a fixed monitor arm, a portable fold-flat riser, or a stand with built-in USB hubs should look at something else.

Setup Check

Verify that your laptop footprint fits the platform and that the integrated front lip does not block your trackpad or front-edge ports. Ensure the desk surface is stable enough for the swivel motion. Confirm the cable routing channel at the rear accommodates your power adapter and peripheral connectors.

Questions about this item

Does the Rain Design 10036 mStand360 require any extra hardware to hold my laptop in place?

No. The stand has an integrated lip that keeps the laptop securely positioned without additional brackets or fasteners.

Can I still use the 360-degree swivel base if my laptop sits on a thick rubber mat?

Yes. The swivel base rotates independently, so the stand turns smoothly regardless of the desk surface underneath.

How do I know the aluminum panel is actually drawing heat away from my laptop?

The laptop runs cooler to the touch and fan noise often drops because the solid aluminum acts as a passive heat sink.
