20 ft Cat6 Patch Cable

This 20 ft Category 6 patch cable connects network devices with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It is suited for point-of-sale installations that require a reliable wired link between terminals, printers or routers. The black jacket keeps the run discreet in retail or office environments.

Thermals Noise and Power

As a passive copper cable it generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during operation. Gold-plated contacts maintain low resistance over the full 20 ft length without active components. The plenum-rated jacket meets fire-safety requirements for in-wall or ceiling routing.

Snagless UltraFlex and Lifetime Warranty

Snagless boots protect the locking tabs from breaking during repeated insertion and removal. The UltraFlex stranded construction makes the cable easy to route around tight corners without kinking. RoHS and REACH certifications confirm restricted-substance compliance, and the manufacturer backs the cable with a lifetime limited warranty.

Questions about this item

How do I route the 20 ft Cat6 cable through the mStand cable-management channel without snagging the RJ-45 connectors?

Feed the snagless RJ-45 plugs through the channel before seating the laptop; the gold-plated contacts and flexible plenum jacket slide cleanly around the aluminium curves.

Will the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts or the plenum jacket need periodic replacement?

The stranded Cat6 construction and RoHS/REACH compliant materials are rated for a lifetime warranty; no scheduled contact or jacket replacement is required.

At what point does the 20 ft length limit signal integrity on a sustained Gigabit link?

Cat6 supports full Gigabit performance up to 100 m, so the 20 ft run stays well within specification even under continuous load.
