Rain Design 10084 mBar Pro+ Aluminum Foldable Laptop Stand accessory

mBar Pro+ Aluminum Foldable Stand

The Rain Design mBar Pro+ is a lightweight aluminum stand that elevates and tilts a MacBook for improved viewing and typing comfort. Its foldable design allows the accessory to collapse flat for simple transport in a bag. The minimal silver finish complements the notebook aesthetic while providing a stable platform for daily work.

Replaces flat desk placement

Using the stand lifts the screen closer to eye level and angles the keyboard, reducing neck strain and wrist fatigue compared to working directly on a table surface. The upgrade is worth it for mobile professionals who frequently set up temporary workstations in cafes, hotels or co-working spaces. It does not suit users who require a fixed, multi-monitor desktop docking station.

Sustained typing stability

The aluminum construction remains rigid during extended typing sessions, preventing the wobble that can occur with thinner plastic risers. Heat dissipates through the metal body, helping the laptop run cooler under continuous load than it would resting directly on a desk. The stand has no moving parts or fans, so long-term reliability depends only on the durability of the folding hinge mechanism.
