Rain Design L1 Aluminum Stand 15.6

The Rain Design L1 is a black aluminum laptop stand built for 10 to 15.6 inch notebooks. It elevates the device by 6 inches to align the screen with your eye level. The open frame improves airflow around the chassis. Rubber pads on the contact points protect both the laptop and the desk surface from scratches.

Suits fixed desks; not for mobile users

This stand suits home or office workers who keep a laptop in one place and want better posture. The three-piece construction disassembles for storage but is not designed for daily carry. Buyers who need height adjustment beyond the fixed 6 inch rise should look at a different model. It also does not fit devices larger than 15.6 inches.

Fixed 6 inch elevation height

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed 6 inch lift height. The stand raises every compatible notebook by this exact amount. If your ergonomic setup requires a lower or higher screen position, this product will not meet that need. The maximum supported laptop size is 15.6 inches.

Questions about this item

What laptop sizes does the Rain Design L1 stand support?

The stand holds notebooks from 10 to 15.6 inches, including 10, 11, 12, 13.3, 14, 15.4 and 15.6 inch models such as MacBook Pro 13/15, MacBook Air 13.3, Dell XPS, Lenovo, HP, ASUS, Google Pixelbook and Samsung.

Will the 6 inch fixed height work with my existing external keyboard and mouse?

The stand raises the laptop by 6 inches to eye level, and its open design leaves room underneath to store a keyboard, mouse or other office supplies when not in use.

How can I confirm the stand is stable after assembly?

After the two-step assembly, the rubber pads on the top and bottom should grip the laptop and desk firmly, preventing wobble or scratches on either surface.
