Direct Replacement for Alaris 500 KEOFEED

This 12V 2.3Ah sealed lead-acid battery is built as a factory-fresh replacement for the Alaris Medical 500 KEOFEED infusion pump. It arrives in a single pack and uses AGM valve-regulated technology that prevents spills and allows installation in multiple orientations.

Upgrade from Worn or Mismatched Cells

The jump is worth it when the original pack no longer holds a full charge or when a replacement was not voltage-matched to its partner. Calcium alloy grids reduce electrolyte loss, while factory voltage matching and same-batch shipping keep paired cells balanced for longer service life.

Fits the Pump Bay Without Modification

Rugged ABS casing resists shock, vibration, chemicals and heat, meeting U.L. Recognised and CE standards from ISO 9001 production. The pack measures 7.01 x 1.38 x 2.40 inches and weighs 2.01 lbs, leaving the pump’s existing charging circuit and mounting points unchanged.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions for the battery compartment of the Alaris 500 KEOFEED pump?

The battery measures 7.01 by 1.38 by 2.40 inches and weighs 2.01 lbs, so the compartment must accommodate that footprint.

How do I install the battery without damaging the valve-regulated spill-proof seal?

Insert the pack in any orientation, secure the connectors firmly, and avoid prying on the ABS casing; the non-conductive housing resists shock and vibration during fitting.

When should I plan to replace the 12V 2.3Ah sealed lead-acid pack?

Expect a typical service life of three to five years; replace when the pump shows reduced backup runtime or the battery fails a self-test.
