Purpose-built replacement

The Raion Power RG1223T1 is a 12V 2.3Ah sealed lead-acid battery designed as a direct replacement for the Alphasource AS00317. It suits users who need a factory-fresh AGM power source for compatible backup or standby equipment.

Voltage and capacity match

The single specification that decides fitment is the 12V 2.3Ah rating, which must match the original unit's electrical requirements. The valve-regulated spill-proof design allows installation in various positions without leakage risk.

Thermal and power behaviour

The rugged ABS casing provides strong resistance to heat and chemicals during normal operation. Calcium alloy grid construction reduces electrolyte loss, supporting stable performance and extended service life under typical float-charge conditions.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2.3 Ah capacity actually run my Alphasource AS00317 device?

Runtime depends on the device's current draw; at a 1 A load you can expect roughly 2.3 hours, while higher loads reduce the available time.

What does the 12 V rating mean for compatibility and charging?

The battery supplies a nominal 12 V and must be charged with a charger designed for 12 V sealed lead-acid AGM cells to avoid damage.

Will the 7.01 x 1.38 x 2.40 inch case fit the AS00317 battery compartment?

Yes, the dimensions match the Alphasource AS00317 specification; the rugged ABS case also allows mounting in various orientations.
