The Ranger Lock Trailer Portabolt fits either left- or right-hand hinged trailer doors. A hardened-steel guard encloses the shackle of a standard padlock, resisting prying and bolt-cutter attacks. Black weather-resistant coating protects the body from rain, salt spray and road grime. The unit mounts with supplied hardware for a permanent installation.

Sustained exposure to weather and vibration

Hardened steel and the black weather-resistant finish maintain structural integrity during long hauls and extended outdoor storage. The guard keeps the padlock shackle shielded from moisture and debris that can freeze or corrode the mechanism. Repeated door slams and road vibration do not loosen the mounting when bolts are torqued to specification. The design has no moving parts of its own to wear out under continuous use.

Measure the clear distance between mounting surfaces before ordering; a shorter or longer gap will prevent proper alignment.
