Capacity and Cooking Modes

The Rapid Electric Egg Cooker is a 1.5-quart countertop steamer that prepares up to 16 eggs in a single batch. It offers six one-touch presets for soft-boiled, hard-boiled, poached, custard, tea eggs and steamed buns. Dual independent chambers allow two different foods to steam at the same time without flavour transfer.

Who Benefits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Households that regularly cook eggs for several people, meal-prep enthusiasts and anyone wanting a set-and-forget appliance will appreciate the large capacity and programmable timer. Buyers who only need one or two eggs at a time, or who prefer stovetop control over preset programmes, may find the unit larger than necessary.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The adjustable timer runs from 0.5 to 9.5 hours and triggers an automatic shut-off with an audible alert when the cycle ends. Dry-burn protection cuts power if the water reservoir runs dry during extended steaming sessions. Removable, non-stick trays and a smooth heating plate simplify cleaning after repeated daily use.
