The Stitch Challenge Puzzle

This 1000-piece jigsaw from Ravensburger features a complex collage of Stitch poses drawn from the Disney franchise. It is aimed at fans aged 14 and older who enjoy detailed character artwork and a lengthy assembly project. The finished picture measures 28 by 20 inches and serves as a display piece once completed.

Behaviour during a long build

The high piece count and repeating character motifs create extended periods of pattern matching rather than quick edge assembly. Sorting by colour zones becomes the main strategy as the image density increases toward the centre. Patience and a large work surface are required to keep the loose sections organised over multiple sessions.

The piece count that sets the pace

One thousand pieces defines the time commitment and the level of detail in the final image. Builders wanting a shorter evening project will find the count too demanding, while collectors seeking a larger canvas may prefer a higher total. The fixed 1000-piece format makes the puzzle a specific middle-ground challenge.

Questions about this item

How much table space does the finished 28" x 20" puzzle need for a full-day build?

The completed puzzle measures 28 by 20 inches, so allow at least that footprint plus a few inches around the edges for loose pieces and sorting trays.

Does the 1000-piece set include glue or a frame for permanent display?

The box contains only the 1000 pieces; adhesive sheets, frames or mounting boards must be purchased separately if you want to preserve the finished picture.

Can a younger sibling under the 14+ age marking safely help with the 1000 pieces?

The manufacturer rates it for ages 14 and up due to piece count and complexity; younger children may struggle with the small parts and intricate Stitch artwork.
