Planetary Strategy Simulation

Per Aspera puts you in control of AMI, an artificial consciousness tasked with terraforming Mars for human colonisation. The game blends hard science-fiction concepts with city-building mechanics that operate across the entire planetary surface rather than a single map. Strategy enthusiasts who enjoy resource logistics and long-term planning will find a deep, narrative-driven campaign built around real-world scientific research trees.

Sustained Campaign Progression

Gameplay revolves around balancing a complex web of resources to construct interconnected structures that span the globe. Branching research paths let you tailor the terraforming approach, unlocking new technologies that gradually transform the barren landscape into a habitable world. The experience rewards patient optimisation over quick bursts of activity, as each decision ripples across the planetary simulation for hours of continuous play.
